Sandra Nencetti

Client Services Manager

Sandra Nencetti joined Berner Financial Services in October of 2021 as Client Services Manager. It marks a new direction in her professional path, but not for the first time!

Sandra started her career in 1982 at Grossinger’s Resort in the Catskills (and has great stories about some of the celebrities she met).  She moved on to Federal Express in 1985, as a Sales Account Executive. Several years later she became a Training Specialist, delivering Customer Service, Hazardous Materials and Driver Training for FedEx’s NYC Metro Operations. (Fun fact: Teaching people how to drive trucks in midtown Manhattan is not for the faint of heart)

In 1998, Sandra joined Deloitte as National Manager of Administrative Operations & Professional Development. In 2001, she became part of the Disaster Recovery Team formed to support employee’s needs and the logistics of re-officing over 3000 professionals and provide business continuity in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

A 9/11-sustained injury eventually prompted Sandra to relocate from NYC to the Hudson Valley to surround herself with the healing power of nature. She happily lives near the Shawangunk mountain ridge, in a converted 1840’s one-room schoolhouse with her 2 kitties (Malcolm & Theo) and her 21 chickens (Yes, they all have names)

In her spare time, Sandra LOVES to rock climb, so can usually be found ‘hanging out’ on the side of a cliff.

After relocating to upstate NY, Sandra became a director with a non-profit agency headquartered in Spain, developing and delivering outdoor education programs for special-needs youth. After that agency closed, she was able to partner with schools and non-profits to continue working with at-risk and special needs young people until the pandemic hit, when sadly, many of those programs were eliminated or reduced.

The silver lining is that Sandra has now been able to jump into a new, exciting profession and learning opportunity. She is looking forward to using her years of diverse work and life experience to support Irene’s practice of building meaningful relationships and making every client feel valued and respected. She loves to find new ways to encourage people to keep exploring, experiencing, learning, and living their best life!
